My first time in the desert. I was in awe of it’s vastness, and calmed by it’s quiet. It was a nice break from the hustle and bustle of the city. I hiked about a mile away from the resort I was staying at to get these photos. There’s nothing quite like the desert to remind you of how mortal and fragile you are.
Happy 2012 folks. Here’s to a bigger, better year!
2011 marked 6 months in business as a freelance photographer. I promised myself in 2010 that I would push myself creatively, push my business, and my boundaries in the new year. I feel unbelievably fortunate to be doing what I love and have a burning passion for, and it excites me that much more to be able to share my experiences with family, friends, clients and fans.
This past year included a number of look book and catalogue shoots for local and international fashion designers, fashion shows, community events, an awesome camp for making music videos, profiling thriving businesses, talented performers, dancers, and musicians, a week-long portfolio excursion in L.A., beautiful families and weddings, editorials, red carpet event at the Twin Cities Film Fest with a nod from Paramount Pictures, my first TV appearance, and my first short film!
I hope to do things even bigger and badder in 2012. Cheers!
I’m soooo excited to have completed my first short film. Thanks to everyone involved, it was a great project!
I’m revamping the website this week, and going over years of work. It’s rather humbling to see how far you’ve come creatively.
